Full Review: For a few months I used the 2014 Geronimo and I thought they were Gandalfs beautiful broom stick. What I loved about the 2014 paddles was they were very light and powerful; what I found out was they didn't use enough fiberglass on the blades and ended up breaking two of them very quickly. The new 2015 Geronimo weighs a bit more as AT used more glue on the throat of the paddle shaft where it meets the blade. I have taken this paddle over a lot of different types of whitewater big drops and steep boulder gardens, and it feels much better then the 2014 paddles. Since AT has added more glass to the blades they are a lot stiffer and flex less so you get more power in each stroke.

Andrew paddling with the Adventure Technology Geronimo.

The Good List: Much more Durable then the 2014 paddles, has almost no flex and provides lots of power.

The Not so Good List: I have used this paddle A LOT and it's a very nice piece of gear. The one thing that I would change/add is the paddle shaft indexing.

The Bottom Line: The 2015 model is great, you'll slay boofs with this bad boy.
