Gear Review: Five Ten Sleuth

Value Rating: 8 Durability Rating: 9 Overall Rating: 10 Location of Test: PDX and the surrounding areas Duration: Since last year Product Name: Sleuth Product Brand: Five Ten Best Use: Walking/biking Size Available: Full size run available
The Full Review These shoes appealed to me aesthetically so I tried them on and was happy with what I found. A roomy toe-box accommodates my wide feet, and secure lacing ensures my feet don't slip out while I'm doing sick bunny hops. A low profile makes this shoe a casual option as well as one of the trail. The Good: Stealth rubber gives these shoes superior grip and they are great in the rain on bike pedals- minimal slippage! The Bad: For me personally, their low top hits my ankle a little higher than I'm used to - it is slightly different than a skate shoe. The Bottom Line: These are a great shoe for a reasonable price - their versatility is very desirable and their casual appearance combined with durability and quality materials make this shoe a crowd-pleaser.
