Here are a few local resources we'd like to reccomend to Climbers in the PDX and surrounding area.

The Mazamas, founded in 1894 is a well established local non-profit offering resources and activities in the climbing and mountaineering arena.
Mazamas cater to all skill levels, are open to members and non-members and organize up to 700 hikes and 300 climbs annually.

The Circuit Gym is a local bouldering gym and a favorite for here at Next Adventure for a quickie after work. No ropes necessary. Rent shoes if you need to. Go at your own pace and have some fun. The Circuit Gym hosts some fun local climbing events and it's a great way to meet other outdoorsies in the area. |

Climbmax is a local gear shop that specializes in climbing. Next Adventure has enjoyed working with Climbmax supporting local climbing events, promoting climbing and having a great time along the way. |

The Portland Rock Gym is a great place to climb and just around the corner from Next Adventure. Harnesses, ropes, classes, parties and more. Check 'em out. |
