November Get Out & Paddles

We've had a fantastic time on the river this month. The North Santiam (Mill City - Mehama), the Upper Upper Kalama and the Green Fork of the EF Lewis were the rivvers we paddled. Both the Kalama and the Green Fork were new runs for me and incredibly gorgeous. I think the Green Fork is going to be a favorite of mine in the future.

Get Out & Paddle 2011-12 Schedule

The Get Out & Paddle days are back! Three times a month, NA Kayak School staff leads a group of whitewater kayakers down one of their favorite rivers - everything from classic runs to rarely paddled gems. We paddle a variety of runs each month - class 2 the 2nd Saturday of the month, class 3 the 3rd and class 4 the 4th. The trips occur from November to March, starting at 8am at The Paddle Sports Center (704 SE Washington St.) with coffee and a van for shuttle. Every Friday we will email trip details to PDXKayaker. River locations are dependent on current river levels.
