It was just a year ago that Next Adventure opened with Mountain Hardware and Marmot and began selling their gear and apparel. These are two incredible companies that set the bar in high quality outdoor gear and who's representatives know all the great details of their products and love what they do. This weekend our local Mountain Hardware rep., Jack Powell, and local Marmot rep., Stewart McCornack, "cooked off" for all of the staff and friends of Next Adventure. As they are both awesome, we felt it might be the only way to determine who was our favorite. Jack's BBQ ribs and Stewart's juicy lamb were incredibly good and it was impossible to decide. Darn it. Two trophies were in order and it looks like they might have to face off again. Jack and Stewart, we know it was a big week for both of you and we enjoyed the food and good company to the fullest. Thank you so much! It's a pleasure doing more than just business.

An article in the September 6th Oregonian Newspaper highlighted Next Adventure as a resource for Baby Boomers gearing up to hit the great outdoors. NA's own Special Ops Manager Seth was quoted: "A lot of folks may have camped in their late teens and 20s. They did the whole kids-and-job thing.
