Hab/Rec: '08

The past couple of years, the weather for Hab/Rec has been a pleasant surprise; sunny, mild. This year, however, was a test of our local disc golf community and their love of the sport. NA employee Joey Moro, aka "Joey Donut's" was one of those who braved the downpour and slung disc for another successful Hab/Rec:
"This year's Hab/Rec was the most fun I've had in a tourney yet. It's always a great group of people that come together to make this event happen. Even though it stormed throughout the 1st round, it wasn't enough to deter Portland's dedicated disc golfers."

Support the PDGA World Championships
Gear News | Disc Golf
In the summer of 2008, Kalamazoo, Michigan will host the PDGA World Championships. To salute the Wolverine State and support the 2008 Championships Huk Lab is proud to release a special edition Worlds Fundraiser Disc. The art was hand sketched and then water colored for a truly unusual full color disc. This disc is full of Michigan symbology as the White Pine, the state tree, anchors the design in the form of a triFly. Flanking the tree are a Robin, state bird, the Brook Trout, state fish and, of course, the Wolverine. The art is rendered using the Discraft SuperColor process which produces the most vibrant flyArt in the sky today. Available here at Next Adventure: $25
