DISC GOLF EXCLUSIVE Meet the Legends
Disc Golf
Ken Climo- Known by most simply as "The Champ" has been the most dominant athlete in the sport of disc golf for over two decades. As seen on his signature discs, Kenny has accumulated 12 world champion titles. He won his first world title in 1990 and from that point on tore up the competition winning 9 World Championships in a row. Not to allow anyone to think he was slowing down, Ken pulled in another world title in 2006, winning by five strokes. In addition to his World Championship titles, Ken has won 5 of the 10 United States Disc Golf Championships, which many believe to be the most prestigous event in the sport of disc golf. Ken is considered the best disc golfer of all time, and is the highest rated player in the world!

Dave Feldberg- In recent years, Dave Feldberg has been one of the sports most dominant and exciting players. Dave's desire to continually improve and move forward has led him to break down the previously unconsidered mechanics of our sports form and technique. As such, Dave is thought to have nearly perfect driving form, and has made notable improvements to putting form, specifically the "push putt". Not to squander his knowledge Dave regularly holds clinics and gives lessons to teach form and technique, including teaching a class at the University of Oregon on disc golf. Adding to his accolades of technique, Dave is a serious force to reckon with on the course! Dave's ranking has steadily increased over the years, and as of this article he is tied with Josh Anthon as the second highest rated player, behind Ken Climo. Dave's biggest accomplishment, however, is being the only player to win 5 different Majors in his career.

Hab/Rec: '08
Gear News | Disc Golf| |

The past couple of years, the weather for Hab/Rec has been a pleasant surprise; sunny, mild. This year, however, was a test of our local disc golf community and their love of the sport. NA employee Joey Moro, aka "Joey Donut's" was one of those who braved the downpour and slung disc for another successful Hab/Rec:
"This year's Hab/Rec was the most fun I've had in a tourney yet. It's always a great group of people that come together to make this event happen. Even though it stormed throughout the 1st round, it wasn't enough to deter Portland's dedicated disc golfers."

Support the PDGA World Championships
Gear News | Disc Golf
In the summer of 2008, Kalamazoo, Michigan will host the PDGA World Championships. To salute the Wolverine State and support the 2008 Championships Huk Lab is proud to release a special edition Worlds Fundraiser Disc. The art was hand sketched and then water colored for a truly unusual full color disc. This disc is full of Michigan symbology as the White Pine, the state tree, anchors the design in the form of a triFly. Flanking the tree are a Robin, state bird, the Brook Trout, state fish and, of course, the Wolverine. The art is rendered using the Discraft SuperColor process which produces the most vibrant flyArt in the sky today. Available here at Next Adventure: $25
