Easter Beasts

We woke early to a beautiful, mixed sky that wasn't sure if it was going to stay cloudy or let the sun out-but we headed over to Pier Park for another sacred session of Sunday Morning Disc Golf. It was my Self, T-Boxx (Tiffany), her friend from out of town Sihan, and The Sender (Dawn).
By the time we arrived the sun was overpowering the clouds, allowing for the most beautiful morning light to be cast into the trees of the park! It was just the right energy for our endeavor. We stretched out a bit and began to throw. On the second hole, T-Boxx delivered a sweet, direct 84-foot putt! We all gave the consequent shouts of "OOOH"'s and "WOW"'s and went on about how cool it was, THEN The Sender-who was only a step or two in front of Tiffany-nailed a 78-80 footer in the same basket!! NO WAY (I thought)! Yes. Yes, way. I screamed, and I am not a screaming girl. The whole situation left us feeling like champions, and like the Lord was with us this Easter-like the Omnipotent had resurrected the high level of skill that lay dormant over the winter, like the Lamb of God inflated our ability...
We continued on through the beautiful park (my favorite local course) on the gorgeous day and fully enjoyed each other's company. We cut it a little short to have Easter Brunch at My Father's Place before Dawn had to go to work. That's where we found the eggs...
*You will commonly find Next Adventure crew hucking discs Sunday mornings, teeing off somewhere around 8AM-ish.*
