Nickname: "Miss Information"
Weapon of Choice: Trekking Poles; hike real fast, cross a snowfield, brake while glissading, splint a broken leg, use as a crutch, build an emergency shelter, fight off a rabid ground squirrel...hopefully one use isn't directly leading to another...
Super Power: Tricking unsuspecting East coasters into believing whatever I have to say about plants.
Favorite Breakfast Cereal: No way! Give me bacon, kale and eggs any day!
What's at the top of your 'bucket list'?: Thru-hiking the Continental Divide Trail and Bike-packing the Great Divide Trail
Favorite thing about Next Adventure?: I love that every day I get to connect with people about the fun adventures they're going on. Not only do I get to share my experience to help them have a better time, but I'm always learning new things as well from our customers.

I'm a third generation outdoor enthusiast. When people ask me how long I've been hiking and backpacking, I joke that I've been doing it since before I was born. In reality, it's not actually a joke: my Mom continued to backpack and mountain climb well into her pregnancy with me. So you could say it was in my blood from the get go. I've been a wilderness guide, and hiked and biked across the country. Although I certainly have a wanderlust for the epic adventure, (and believe everyone should do their own version of that) I'm currently focusing on how to incorporate nature into my life on a more regular basis. This means getting out on day hikes almost every weekend, something I find to be incredibly good for the soul.
