Guided Kayak Touring Trip with Instruction
Come paddle in the scenic Columbia River Gorge with the Next Adventure Kayak School! Launching at Dalton Point, we'll paddle to Rooster Rock and around Sand Island, experiencing one of the most majestic paddling locations in the Northwest. Lined with distinct formations of volcanic rock, this part of the Gorge is a unique sanctuary for wildlife and a fantastic spot for viewing raptors. A catered lunch is provided for a mid-paddle meal right by the river. Westerly winds in the summer provide a fun and mildly challenging ride back to Dalton Point.
We paddle stable touring kayaks on this trip. Skills and safety instruction sufficient for any first-time kayakers are included.
