Guided Wildlife Tour with Instruction
A kayaking trip to Sauvie Island is unlike any other. We'll start our trip on McNary Lake, paddling into the North Arm of Sturgeon Lake, spying on herons and raptors as we move through flooded stands of cottonwood trees. An awesome catered lunch will be served on an island in Sturgeon Lake. Then out and back on the Gilbert River, making a large loop through the interior of Sauvie Island and having an unforgettable day on the water.
We paddle super-stable recreational kayaks on this trip. Skills and safety instruction sufficient for any first-time kayakers are included.
