We woke early to a beautiful, mixed sky that wasn't sure if it was going to stay cloudy or let the sun out-but we headed over to Pier Park for another sacred session of Sunday Morning Disc Golf. It was my Self, T-Boxx (Tiffany), her friend from out of town Sihan, and The Sender (Dawn).
The Love and the Wraith

It was a misty, overcast Wednesday afternoon when Izzy suggested we throw a game of disc golf at Pier Park. We took immediate action and threw our stuff together when suddenly I remembered that I had recently lost my favorite lucky driver, my pink Champion Orc, 166g, with 02 Huk Lab Decal. What that meant was we would be stopping at Next Adventure so I could trade in some other discs for a new champion driver, hopefully something that could take me greater distances and through the worst of obstacles.
Hab-Rec Disc Golf Tournament
Disc GolfBy Renee
Fall settled in this year just in time for the Hab-Rec Disc Golf Tournament (Habitual Recreational) at Riverbend Disc Golf Course at Milo McIver State Park. Nearly 100 participants toughed it out and faced the rain as most seasoned Oregon disc-golfers would, and delivered their best. I hung out at Disc Golf Central, which included our Next Adventure booth, standing by ready to refresh players with beverages, fresh wool socks, hand-warmers, glow sticks, and stickers. We neighbored up next to Jay’s Huk Lab Fly Gear tent.
Double Church Sunday
Disc GolfAs usual, we gathered for Sunday Mass; that is, mass DISC GOLF. We had a larger group than ever before- myself, Eric, Ellen, Tiffany, Holly, Kristy, Izzy, and shortly after were joined by Eric's friends Doug and South. The game went really well, as usual. I'm learning small tips now, like gore-tex shoes and pants that you can partially roll up are GOOD. And people fear the hammer throw! Yesss...
Easy Like a Sunday Morning
Disc Golf | MiscellaneousWaking up at 6:45 on a Sunday morning usually is not my idea of a good time. However, this particular Sunday started with a nice bike ride to my friend and fellow Next Adventure employee Tiffany's house, where our ride continued on to Pier Park for some disc golf. "Tee time at 8:00am sharp" were Renee's last words to me the evening before.

I finally made it out to McIver State Park to check out the new changes in their disc golf course. To my surprise there were 9 new holes making a total of 27! The course route was also changed.
