X-Dog Events: The Dirty Du and Dirt Dash RETURN!

04/11/2010 - 10:00am
Hagg Lake, Oregon

"A wonderfully dirty event. Pre and Post race festivities are nothing shy of tremendous. An epic course with savory scenery and ludicrous filth."

Last year, NA's Adventure Race Team went out to a few X-Dog Events to see what the buzz was all about.  After the first race, they returned and convinced Deek and Bryan to sponsor this year's series.

XD is returning to Hagg Lake and bringing back the Dirty Du and DIrt Dash. The duathlon will feature a mountain bike around Hagg Lake, and the run will follow some of the lakes fantastic trails. X-Dog events welcomes Back In Motion Sports Injury Clinic as presenting sponsor and Dave Johnson will be providing custom blown glass for some lucky participants!

The registration may be limited, so Register early. All are welcome to come and play!! Racers from all age ranges welcome. Interested in volunteering? Email xdogcrew@gmail.com

Madrone Wall: Updates

|

Below are important dates to remember for those of you interested in the Madrone Wall and contributing to this project:

"Environmental and economic studies co-funded by the County and the Madrone Wall Preservation Committee along with the Clackamas River Basin Conservation Alliance, a local citizen group, determined that it would be uneconomical, even under the best conditions, to quarry this site. It is imperative that this site now be preserved as a park or open space before it becomes a private quarry or is developed into tracts of trophy homes. The Madrone Wall is one of the last and best treasures..." To read more go to www.savemadrone.org/future.htm

February 5th: Film Festival benefiting the Madrone Wall. at the Hollywood. Thanks to Jeff Alzner for putting this together.
