The Full Review:
As an outdoorsy Oregon gal, these are by far the best outdoor gloves I have purchased. They showed up at our paddling shop in Scappoose late last summer and I generally ignored them...until it rained. I apologized and now we are the best of friends. I'm a boat hauler and spend time guiding customers out here on the bay...rain or shine. As a year 'round kayak rental and guide shop, I knew I was going to need a well-made and crafted glove to get me through the cold and damp. I found them.

I can haul and clean boats, wring these gloves out, put them back on and hit the water for a 3-hour paddle tour, and my hands stay warm. Yes, I wring them out and put them back on, still warm. At the end of the day I hang them up and the next morning they are dry, smiling and not stinky...ready for another day on the Bay!

I've also worn these on evening bike rides in the city...my fingers and wrists stay toasty and are functional when I get home, needing to fumble with keys. There are very few outdoor activities these gloves wouldn't kick ass at.

I have worn them a lot over the past 3 weeks, washed them once in mild soap and warm water. I was expecting the layers to start separating, but no sign of that. There is only a slight bit of pilling on the fingers, but nothing monumental. I appreciate the perfect amount of silicone grip on the fingers and palm and the non-existent seam feel at the finger webbing. Extremely comfortable and soft, but ever so durable.

The Good:

Stay warm even when dripping wet
Very durable
Designed to fit like a glove. They really do fit oh, so well.
Tall and secure wrist cuff
Dries without funk
Portland Company

The Bad:
Really can't think of any cons. The price tag might shy some people away, but once they try them they will be sold. I've sold four pairs this week. We're all going to start a fan club for these gloves.

The Bottom Line:
These will be the last pair of outdoor gloves you buy...except for the pair you buy to keep in the glove box or the ones for your brother that likes to fish and your trail running Auntie.
They should call them the Work Hard, Play Hard
