Wilderness Technology Adventure 35l

The Full Review:
I bought this pack with the thought of long day trips or single overnights during the summer season in mind. I like to sleep under the stars on the warm summer NW nights, so 35L is enough room for me while leaving the tent at home. This pack is fully featured: a large main compartment, a dedicated sleeping bag compartment (there is a divider between the two that can be zipped out), a secondary compartment, stash pocket on the front, two hip belt pockets, a curved frame for airflow between your back and the backpack, and two water bottle pockets. Everything you could need for any adventure you have in mind, and all for $59.99.

I took this backpack along with me on my two-week road trip to the Canadian Rockies. I used it multiple times on this trip and it was great. All the pockets allowed me to divide my gear and snacks/food (I like snacks a lot) and keep everything organized. The padding on the shoulder straps and hip straps is ample so you can load it up decently. Where I did have an issue was a lack of padding on the bottom of the back of the pack between the hip belts. The bottom of the pack rode right on the top of my sacrum so this could be a fit issue. I am 5"9" so if you are a bit taller or shorter this problem might be avoided. Regardless more padding is generally appreciated by all.

Since my trip to the Canadian Rockies I used this backpack on several more day adventures for the remainder of the 2017 summer. I am impressed by the versatility and features of this pack and would recommend it for the price conscious shopper.

One final note; the zippers do take a bit of finessing to get closed especially if the pack is fully loaded. This problem is only noticeable on the sleeping bag compartment. I dinged the durability rating for this reason as I could see a zipper blowout being a future problem after a healthy amount of use.

Wilderness Technology Adventure 35l

The Good
Lots of pockets.
Separate main compartment and sleeping bag compartment.
Rain cover included.

The Bad:
Zippers take finesse work to get closed.
Not enough padding between the hip belt on the bottom in the center of the pack.

The Bottom Line:
All around solid pack with all the pockets and attachments you could want at a great price point.
