The Full Review:
The Drop Epsi Snow Goggles delivers some of the high demand features people want in a snow goggle. It provides good comfort, durability, and performance for it's price point.
The Espi Snow Goggles really show their worth during sunny days. Vision is clear and doesn't cause any strain on the eyes with a yellowish brown tint. Fogging was not an issue when wearing them in the rain or in 0-degree weather. They are also comfortable to wear and didn't require adjusting through the entire day. However, the Espi fits best on someone with a more narrow face. It does run on the smaller end when compared to some of the goggles currently out on the market resulting in limited peripherals. The goggles are sturdy and made with good materials.
However, they start to lose in performance when the sun goes away. Your vision becomes more narrow and you lose depth perception. For late-day skiing, you would want to take them off because they're not designed for low light conditions.
The Good:
Provides features similar to that of a high-end snow goggle at an awesome price point.
The Bad:
Performs poorly in low light settings.
The lens is fixed and not interchangeable.
Vision is narrow, with limited peripherals.
Doesn't make snow cones.
The Bottom Line:
Regardless if you're riding for recreation or competition. These goggles will stand up to the task when the weather conditions are great. For the number of features you are getting it has an excellent price point. However, I would not recommend them for night skiing.
- Fleece covered memory foam for a snug custom fit.
- Optically correct and distortion free spherical lenses.
- Hinged outriggers will fit any helmet profile. Outriggers lay flat when not in use so you can wear with or without a helmet.
- Supreme Air Flow. Utilizing specifically designed vents in the lens and frame to scoop out unwanted moisture to keep your field of vision dry and fog-free.
- Foam travel case and goggle bag included.
