New to the wet and wild world of whitewater or sea kayaking? Or you’ve got your feet wet before and you just need to review your skills? For both cases, this is the class for you. You’ll master wet exits, begin learning the how to use your upper and lower body with the paddle to upright the boat. These skills build the foundation you need to quickly, efficiently and successfully learn to roll. During your class, our experienced, skilled and patient instructors provide individualized teaching to provide you with the BEST introduction to a fundamental skill for paddling in dynamic conditions.

Student to Teacher Ratio: 4:1
Prerequisites: No previous experience required.
Equipment Needed: All necessary equipment is included in the cost of the class (boat, paddle, sprayskirt). Feel free to bring any of your own equipment. Be sure to complete the height and weight information during checkout so we can provide the right size equipment. Many students like to wear a rashguard or light baselayer in the pool to help them retain warmth.
