Full Review: I picked this bad boy up at the start of this summer so I could have a nice drytop that could take abuse and still keep me warm and dry. Immersion Research uses 4 layer Toray Entrant fabric which is much thicker then other drytops, and I feel it is much more durable while hiking into creeks with lots of blackberry bushes. The main downside to this thick, durable material is that it doesn't breath the best compared to other fabrics, but I think in the long run it will hold up much better and not need repairs.

This top is great if you plan on doing lots of paddling where you will be spending a lot of time out of your kayak looking at rapids or hiking down to the river.

"The Good" List: Really durable. I think this is a great drytop if you plan on hiking and abusing it.

"The Not so Good List": It doesn't breath very well. The glue for all of the gaskets is not very neatly done.

The Bottom Line: Half the price of most other dry tops and will last twice as long. Good product for the price.
