Merino Hood

The Merino Hood is the Blackstrap for people who tour: a Nuyarn merino blend that keeps working when you are sweating up the skin track at White River and then standing in the wind at the top. Nuyarn spins the merino without the usual twist, which Blackstrap says gives better stretch and recovery, faster drying and more consistent warmth than standard merino, and the wool stays odor-resistant over a multi-day hut trip. Same ExoHinge face panel as the original Hood, with flatlock seams under the helmet and a reflective logo for dusk exits.
