Evo Tails add flotation to MSR Evo snowshoes exactly when you need it. Slide them onto the back of the shoe and twist down the knob, and you have extra float for a storm day of fresh snow on Mt. Hood or a heavy overnight pack. When the trail firms up, pop them off without taking your snowshoes off. That lets you run a smaller, nimbler primary shoe most of the time.
