The Speedcross 6 GTX takes Salomon's mud-specific trail shoe and adds a GORE-TEX membrane for wet-season Pacific Northwest running, when the trail is more puddle than dirt. Deep, aggressive Contagrip lugs claw through mud and evacuate it fast, and the quicklace system means one pull gets a secure, even fit before a rainy trailhead start.
