Summit Trex shoes protect paws from the things that hurt them: hot pavement in August, sharp rock on a scramble, ice and snowmelt salt in January. The lightweight, weather-resistant upper opens wide so they go on easily, a hook-and-loop cinch holds them in place, and a non-marking rubber outsole gives grip on slick surfaces. They are sold in pairs, because a dog's front and back paws are often different sizes.
