When a tarp grommet rips out halfway through a wet weekend in the Gorge, these snap-together plastic grommets put a new tie-down point anywhere on the fabric without tools or a hammer. Push the two halves through the tarp, tent fly, or ground cloth and clamp them together, then run your guyline through. A pack of eight covers a season of rigged kitchen tarps and patched rain flies, and the whole pack weighs next to nothing in the repair kit.
