A camp axe that shrugs off wet weather. The nylon fiber handle will not swell, crack or loosen the way wood can after a few rainy weekends on the Oregon coast, and the non-slip grip stays put with wet hands. The EN9 carbon steel head is sized for splitting kindling and processing campground firewood, and at 16 inches overall it swings one-handed and stows in a car camping bin or strapped to a pack.
