8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope

A half-and-twin rated 8 mm for alpine routes where the rock is sharp and every gram rides on your back. Core Protect adds an aramid layer between the polyamide sheath and the core for cut resistance over edges, and that layer is braided with extra length so the rope still catches dynamically. The 40 m length suits glacier travel and short pitches on Hood or in the North Cascades, the dry finish keeps water absorption under 2 percent, and it comes out of the bag tangle free.
