BEAL JAMMY - 60CM

A rappel backup you can trust on skinny ropes. Beal's Jammy is a sewn loop of Technora aramid cord inside a polyamide sheath, built for friction hitches like the Prusik and Machard where a nylon cord would glaze or slip. Aramid keeps its 22 kN strength even when friction heats it, and the flexible cord bites on thin doubles. The 60 cm length is sized for two-strand autoblocks on 8.1 to 10 mm ropes, exactly what you want backing up long rappels off Beacon Rock.
