CORSA ALPINE ICE AXE

The Corsa with a steel head, for when the route steepens. The Corsa Alpine keeps the hyperlight 7075 aluminum shaft and adds a chromoly pick tapered from 4 to 3 mm, so it penetrates firm snow and old ice on the Hood headwall or a Cascades couloir and pulls out again easily. The single-curve shaft and machined grip swing well on steeper terrain, a minimal steel spike canes securely, and it takes the Trigger Fast Lock pinky rest and Corsa leash. Not for vertical ice.
