GRIGRI + BELAY DEVICE

The GRIGRI + is the belay device for climbers who are learning, teaching, or spending most of the session on top rope at a Portland gym. Cam-assisted blocking helps hold a fall, ASSIST + mode pre-activates the cam so taking in slack on top rope is easier, and the anti-panic handle stops the rope if a new belayer pulls too hard while lowering. It belays lead climbers too, and the 3:1 handle advantage keeps lowering smooth on 8.5 to 11 mm single ropes, optimized for 8.9 to 10.5 mm.
