Haute Route Helmet

Ski tour in the morning, climb in the afternoon, and carry one helmet. Mammut's Haute Route is certified for skiing, mountaineering and biking, so it covers the Mt. Hood skin track, the summit scramble and the ride home. At 350 to 400 g it sits light on the head, internal air channels and big front vents keep goggles clear on the climb, and a 360 degree wheel dials the fit over a beanie or a bare head. Elastic clips hold goggles or a headlamp for pre-dawn starts.
