A hiking crew that keeps cushion only under the heel and forefoot and uses thinner mesh everywhere else, so it feels lighter and cooler than a full cushion sock. That makes it a good match for trail runners and light hikers on warm days or fast outings. The crew height protects against brush and boot collars, and merino keeps odor down across a multi day trip.
