Néo7 Alpine Folding Knife

Opinel's answer to the question of what a 130 year old knife company builds for climbers. The Neo7 Alpine keeps the simplicity and drops the wood: a fiberglass reinforced handle that does not care about water, cold, or being dropped on rock, and the Opiflex blade holding system in place of the traditional ring.

The blade tip protrudes slightly when closed so you can open it one handed, with gloves on, while the other hand is doing something more important. There is a quarter inch bit holder built into the handle, which turns it into a screwdriver for binding, crampon, and gear adjustments without carrying a second tool.
