The Outside 100 Grip is Salomon's backcountry cross-country ski for leaving the set track behind: deep snow, forest roads and steep, tree-lined trails. A large sidecut and a short 175 cm length keep it controllable on the way down, rocker helps it float where other skis sink, and a Posigrip fish-scale base climbs with no wax or prep. It is built for Mt. Hood's Sno-Park roads and Gifford Pinchot forest trails after a fresh storm.
