ROCKLIGHT II 9.8MM CLIMBING ROPE

A workhorse single rope at a workhorse price. Edelweiss's Rocklight II lands at 9.8 mm, thick enough to take the abuse of top roping and projecting at Ozone or Carver, yet at 61 grams per meter it will not weigh down the pack on the hike into Smith Rock. Six UIAA falls and an 8.5 kN impact force give a soft catch on sport whippers. Pick 40 m for the gym and short crags, 60 m for standard pitches, or 70 m for the long Smith lines.
