Willis Kimbel's Layback Hammock Zine!

Willis Kimbel is a professional skateboarder and fun-haver who’s been coming to Next Adventure since he was a kid. For years, Willis has been adventuring and traveling around the world with hammocks that he picked up from Next Adventure. Willis embodies the Next Adventure Spirit and we thought Willis’ name belonged on his favorite Wilderness Technology hammock!

The “Layback” is a term used in surfing and skating which seemed perfect for Willis’ brand. Willis talked with Next Adventure’s own Andy Thompson and created these vintage label inspired “Willis Kimbel’s Layback Hammock'' patches. Then we attached these patches to the stuff sack of the Wilderness Technology hammocks that Willis has been using for the last decade and finally, the “Layback” was born! Along with these Hammocks, Willis worked with Andy to put together a Zine that covers Willis’ approach to Hammock adventuring. Turns out the secret to hammocks is to hang loose, but not too loose.
