Event Report: Disc Go Ball Tournament

Next Adventure Disc Golf Team Members Go to the Disc Go Ball Tournament in Sisters, OR.

After a long wet Fall and Winter, the Spring has arrived and the disc golf season got on it’s way this past weekend in Central Oregon. The Disc Go Ball in it’s 6th year has become a must play tournament drawing disc golfers and ultimate players from all over the northwest. From Medford to Seattle I got to meet and play with some great people over the weekend. Ultimate Tournament It was nice to put up the rain gear and get out the shorts and t-shirts again. All weekend it was sunny and in the 70’s with some light to moderate wind that made playing conditions great! The Next Adventure crew had some strong finishes with Tanya Spence wining the Women’s Advanced division and Craig Nielsen winning the Men’s Grandmasters division! Jason Pinkal also took down second place in the Masters Division. You can see all of the final results here. sisters-1 The Central Oregon disc golf community were gracious host getting the course in pristine condition and running the tournament like a well oiled machine. disc-go-ball-2 A huge thanks goes out to everyone that helped put on this great event especially the tournament director Ryan Lane. Ryan and his support keep making this event better each year. Already looking forward to next year!! disc-go-ball-3
