Exploring the Next Adventure Scappoose Bay Paddling Center

When: Open all year round! Location: Scappoose Bay Marina Usefull links: portofcolumbiacounty.org | traveloregon.com scappoose bay The Next Adventure Scappoose Bay Paddling Center, located on the water at the beautiful Scappoose Bay Marina, offers something for everyone! If you are planning to come out, make sure to dress according to the season and weather. Our Scappoose Bay location is a short 25-mile drive from Portland and easily accessible via Hwy 30. Scappoose Bay Once here, feel free to wander around, check out inside the shop, and down by the water/docks. Bring a kayak to paddle or rent one of ours. Spend a couple of hours or the entire day. Scappoose Bay If paddling isn’t your thing check out the nature trail next to the paddle shop. The 0.7-mile nature trail is a great place to sit and relax and eat a snack or take a stroll to view the river and boats passing by. This trail is great for entertaining the little ones, and dogs! There’s plenty of room for them to roam and enjoy the scenery. Scappoose Bay Scappoose Bay Spring, summer and the beginning of fall offer the most beautiful scenery for views and photos. I love the early September and October months when the leaves begin to change color and fall to the ground, giving your feet a beautiful colored pathway. Scappoose Bay Scappoose Bay As a Next Adventure employee, I enjoy taking my lunches and dog, Maya, along this path to free my mind and enjoy some fresh air. Great for an easy picnic after a paddle rental! SCAPPOOSE BAY PADDLING CENTER 57420 Old Portland Rd. Warren, OR 97053 Hope to see you around soon!
