Gear Review: 2021 Arbor Foundation Snowboard - Next Adventure

Gear Review: 2021 Arbor Foundation Snowboard

Value Rating: 10 Durability Rating: 8 Overall Rating: 9 Location of Test: Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort in Wenatchee, WA Duration of Test: A few laps Product Name: 2021 Arbor Foundation Snowboard Product Brand: Arbor Best Use: All Mountain Sizes Available/Specs: 148, 152, 155, 158, 161, 159MW, 162MW Flex: 3 out of 10 Camber Profile: Parabolic rocker The Full Review: When I first strapped into this board, I was expecting a fun ride on a very traditional style snowboard. Well, my expectations were more than met! Not only did I get a fun ride on a great reverse camber all-mountain board, but it was light and really responsive. I found this board to perform well in the trees, and off-piste. I had great control and edge hold, even while riding on a relatively icy condition. The board was poppy and light, and it felt weightless as I soared through the air on a variety of jumps and side hits. Overall, I felt that this board was easy to control and really fun to ride.
The Good: Lightweight, good turning radius, easy to control, holds an edge. The Bad: Little chatter in the nose at higher speeds, but not too terrible. The Bottom Line: This is a fun ride and would be an awesome buy for any rider that is looking for more of a “do all” board.
