Gear Review: 2021 Rome Ravine Snowboard - Next Adventure

Gear Review: 2021 Rome Ravine Snowboard

Value Rating: 8 Durability Rating: 8 Overall Rating: 7 Location of Test: Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort in Wenatchee, WA Duration of Test: A few laps Product Name: 2021 Ravine Product Brand: Rome Best Use: Trench/ditch/gully riding Rome Ravine Snowboard The Full Review: On this specific day, I wasn’t a big fan of the Ravine snowboard. I’d really like to revisit it on a nice powder day. The tail felt really big and clunky. It felt like it was catching on everything even after I had already passed those things on the ground if that made sense. I think it would be really fun to slash some fresh snowbanks and to get surfy-sideways. Unfortunately, with no new snow, I didn’t get to fully open up on this board.

The Good: Seems like a great surfy pow board The Bad: Not great on icy/hard conditions. Feels catchy with the fat tail. The Bottom Line: Save this one for the soft snow!
