The 10.6'' Adventure Research SUP is one of the best deals around. I’ve spent at least 3 different weekends on this board and find it a blast to paddle. And my wife, who doesn't have the best balance in the world, finds it plenty stable for her liking. The first thing that drew me to this board was the price. I’ve never found a quality SUP package for this price and actually provide a quality paddleboard. This package comes with the board, bag, fin, paddle, and pump. The paddle is a 3 piece so it’s really nice to be able to just put it right in the bag. The bag itself is really compact and fits nicely in the trunk of a car.
The 10.6 size is perfect for lakes and just paddling around on the Willamette River. If I was going on a longer trip, I would probably pick a different board. That being said, some longer boards can be a bit less stable. I liked the stability and the maneuverability this 10.6 board. I also liked the grippy matt that comes on it. Another great feature is the D-Ring attachment points, allowing me to attach a dry bag or a water bottle there. A note for inflatables, in general, is to take the extra time to pump it up nice and hard and you will get better performance out on the water.
