The Full Review:
The Abba PFD by Astral is super-duper comfy. I love it because it is very simple, and doesn’t have extra features on the front of the vest that I don't need. I use this vest mostly for flatwater kayaking or when I am going to be a passenger on a whitewater rafting trip. I like it for whitewater because is has a lot of good float to it. I have other life jackets for technical whitewater kayaking where other safety features may be needed.
Another feature to note on the Abba is the super easy to use front zipper. This makes it so I don’t have to duck my head through the PFD like a lot of others on the market. It’s easy to take on and off. This PFD also comes with a spot for a river knife it needed. It also is quite easy to adjust while you’re out on the water. One added bonus feature to the Abba is the inner lined fleece around the check area. When It's cold out it's nice to stick your hands there for a minute to warm them up! This has been super clutch on occasion!
The Good:
Comfy
Easily adjustable
Simple
Front Key/Phone pocket
Hand warming area
Knife tab
Easy on/off zipper
The Bottom Line:
If good floatation, comfort, and simplicity are things you're looking for in a PFD, the Abba is for you.
