The name Darn Tough is in no way an exaggeration. My hiking socks lasted from Port Clinton, PA to Baxter, ME and after the trail, I used them for a year on my feet at work and hiking before they finally tore. They are extremely comfortable, and the amount of use I got out of them was ten times longer than any other wool hiking sock I wore on the trail. After I finally tore my socks, I warrantied them and got a new pair sent to me from their mill in Vermont for free. I continue to wear Darn Tough socks every day of the week.
