My family and I picked up a few of the Eno SingleNest Hammocks a number of years ago, and we haven't relaxed the same since. Something about the ease and comfort of these things makes them magical. We take them everywhere - backpacking, climbing, car camping, rental homes, international travel, kayak camping - they're so versatile.
Whether I need a spot to relax and read a book, or a comfortable place to sleep out under the stars, these things always serve me well. They're very durable and have put up with years of abuse, even with young children playing with them, without so much as a loose thread.
They hang easily using any sort of webbing or hammock kit, and pack up easily into their pouch, which also comes in handy to store headlamps, phones, or food and drink during use.
If you're a warm weather backpacker, this is your new tent. If you're a lakeside reader and relaxer, this is your now lounge chair. If you're a kayak camper, this is your rejuvenation spot. If you're a stay-at-home parent, this is your new porch-mounted reading spot.
