The temps were not looking to bad but we didn't want the little guy to get cold. Enter the Kelty Bestie Blanket. At 1 pound 8 ounces and fairly small packed size it was a perfect option for us. There are lot of lightweight packable blankets on the market right now but we were looking for something affordable. After all we love the dog but he tends to destroy pretty much everything he gets his paws on. At $25 bucks this blanket rocks! Its smaller in size that most of the outdoor blankets on the market but that's what makes it so perfect for the dog! The Bestie's shell is made with 75D Polyester Taffeta. Soft yet durable material that comes in multiple colors and patterns. The fill is Cloudloft™, a synthetic material that's warm and packable. Fast forward a few days and we are back home on the couch using the blanket daily. Turns out this thing works inside too! We are going to have to get another one so the dog can have his back. The Good: The price Coludloft™ fill Packable size Sweet patterns The Bad: The size, great for most applications but I would love a larger version! No down option The Bottom Line: These are a great deal! I already want another one since my dog has claimed this one.
