"This is the FIRST stove I ever purchased. It is also the LAST stove I ever purchased." I purchased this stove back in 2011. My Snowpeak Gigapower has been my hot-headed companion on the majority of my backpacking trips and even my car camping trips. I purchased an inexpensive titanium cook pot and I use that in conjunction with my giga power to boil water for my coffee addiction, afternoon tea, or my freeze-dried dinner on the summit of Mt. Baldy in California or while meandering around Mt. Rainier National Park. It has a sub 5 minute/1-liter boil time, weighs a measly 3.17oz, and is extremely reliable. The ONE and only, singular, uno, problemo I've ever had with this stove was user error, when I accidentally over flowed my water from boiling too long and it splashed on my auto ignitor. The auto ignitor got wet and it no longer sparked that necessary spark needed to start my stove right up. You know what I did? I used a lighter. After 30 seconds of being on, the auto ignitor was hot enough and dried up whatever moisture had prevented it from functioning properly, and we were back to tip top shape. I honestly cannot speak more highly of this stove. It’s well worth your cash. Snow Peak Gigapower Stove The Good Ole reliable. Who the hell is rushing to boil their water in the back country? Got somewhere to be or sumthin'? The Bad: Doesn't tell me I'm pretty and doesn't laugh at my jokes. The Bottom Line: 1. Buy Snowpeak Gigapower 2. Use Snowpeak Gigapower 3. Continue to use Snowpeak Gigapower for 8+ years
