The Full Review:
This is the second Spyderco knife I've owned. Previously, I owned the Tenacious G10, a modest $40 blade. After losing it, I felt it was time to upgrade to a better, more ergonomic knife.
The Para Military 2 was talked about often by my friends as the go-to best every day all around carry knife. Once I held it for the first time, I immediately felt the urge to buy 2.
So I did.
I own both the Para 2 in S30v steel and S110v steel. I keep the S110v at home for the inevitable day that I either lose or break my S30v one. I have owned this knife for two years now.
This blade is with me all the time. I clean it. I sharpen it. I fidget with it, cut boxes with it, cook meals with it, prep fires with it. It does everything I could ever expect a knife to do and I have never had any manufacturing issues or concerns about the blades integrity/durability.
The G10 handle gives it a great grip in hand, even when it gets wet. Its large size is misleading as it still fits perfectly in my pocket without feeling overly bulky or heavy.
This is my favorite knife. Hands down.
The Good
Brilliant design. Easy one hand opening style with a rear compression lock for getting that quick "flick" open. G10 handle is durable and provides fantastic grip. S30v steel.
The Bad:
I'm sometimes paranoid about where I leave it. Don't want to lose this one.

If you're looking to upgrade to a high-end American made everyday carry knife and your a huge fan of g10 handle material, get this knife. They often sell out on Spyderco's website due to popularity.
