The Full Review
The Werner Thrive is a great middle of the road paddle that bridges the gap between budget and performance. Coming in at $199.99 it's a great featuring a sweet lever lock adjustability system, fiberglass wrapped shaft, and a fiberglass blade. This blade is on the smaller side of medium and doesn't make it too hard on your shoulder while still providing enough purchase to not have to take 100 strokes a minute.
The Good:
The good thing about this paddle is that it is significantly lighter than an entry level paddle and still priced intermediately. The paddle is light weight and rigid for its materials.

The Bad:
The fiberglass could be a little thicker, but I'm someone who isn't concerned about the extra weight that would add to the existing model.
The Bottom Line:
Great Paddle for someone looking for a step up from a nylon blade, or anyone looking for a happy medium between foam core and fiberglass.
