Gear Review: Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System - Next Adventure

Gear Review: Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System

Value Rating: 10 Durability Rating: 10 Overall Rating: 10 Location of Test: Hangin' out in the Pacific Northwest Duration of Test: 3 months Product Name: Hammock Suspension System Product Brand: Wilderness Technology Best Use: Hammocking Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System The Full Review: While it may not be the flashiest product, the Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System is an awesome addition to your outdoor gear. They’re easy to use, dependable, and affordable. I use mine with my ENO hammock - the difference in brands makes absolutely no difference. The main reason that I picked the Wilderness Technology straps is that they were significantly more affordable than other options, yet they still perform exceptionally well. Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System The suspension system is super easy to use - it only takes a minute or two to set up your hammock. It’s easy to adjust as well, making the straps pretty versatile as to how much distance you need between trees. I have yet to encounter a (reasonable) set of trees that the straps didn’t work on. This set also comes with carabiners, which many other sets do not. Finally, I was able to easily fit the entire suspension system back in the mesh bag it comes in, which was an unexpected plus. They’re also lightweight, meaning that I can throw them in my bag to bring on a hike without a second thought. Hammock with ease! Wilderness Technology Hammock Suspension System The Good: Easy Secure Affordable The Bad: I have yet to find a weakness The Bottom Line: A very solid suspension system at an unbeatable price
