Mountain Rewards

So it can be pretty nice at the top of Mt. St. Helens.
In complete contrast with my last ascent account, this time it was more like a walk in the park.

Beautiful deep blue sky, warm sun and just the lightest breeze. Views of Mts. Hood, Jefferson, and Adams kept getting better the higher we went. At the crater rim, Mt. Rainier stood above Spirit Lake's blue waters.

Be prepared for the worst, and sometimes you get rewarded with the best the Northwest has to offer.
