We are off to a great start with the Get Out and Paddle trips, averaging around twenty folks per trip! We have had a lot of fun too, hitting up the Washougal, Sandy, East Fork Lewis, and Hood Rivers. This last week's lack of rain brought the class III trip to the Hood River, which was sitting at about four feet. There was a great turn out, with 18 folks showing up. (Pretty awesome the weekend before a holiday if you ask me!)
The Lower Hood River offers lots of fun boulder gardens and some really fun rock boofs. The run keeps you on your toes, with a "create your own adventure" style through rocks and holes.
We hope that the new year will bring us lots of rain and more big groups for the Get Out and Paddle trips.
Big Thanks to Jamie Webber and James Philips for the beautiful photos! :)
