The Mad Rock Mad Pads

As mentioned in a previous post, I'm a fan of Mad Rock's Mad Pads. They're economical, they're big (the triple is 44" by 70"), they do the job and even a little more because you can turn them into comfy chair around the camp fire! In the video Alex, Nolan and I are putting these pads to use out in the woods on some Portland classics and back in the desert of Bishop, California. We had the Mad Pads underneath us on Carver's Highball v3 , the Virtues Traverse (has a very intimidating landing) and the v7 and v5, Higher Education and the Intruder. Don't forget other features too: you can strap them together to keep multiple pads from separating (provides a safer landing) and also they come with a nice little rug to clean your shoes before you get on the rock. Definitely worth checking out next time your shopping for some pads.
