Video Gear Review: Slash ATV Snowboard

Here's Tony from Next Adventure with a review of the Slash ATV Snowboard. -Hey, I’m Tony with Next Adventure and I’m talking about the Slash ATV Snowboard. This is an aggressive all-mountain freestyle snowboard. It is for the intermediate advanced to expert rider. It’s just a full camber beast of a board. It’s really stiff with a traditional camber all the way through so it carves really well, pops really well, and is great for all use. It is super stable at high speeds because of that stiffness and because of that camber and also because of the wood core. So, it has a forever wood, which is comprised of four different types of wood that are just going to give it a lot of liveliness, a lot of response, and help make it super light. It also has what they call buried treasure, which are these beams right here – and that’s going to be Kevlar, carbon, and basalt stringers. They give it a lot of pop in the area right behind your foot and a lot of stability. This is a great board for carving and a great board for ollies. It’s fun in the park. It’s a directional twin, so it has a true twin shape. The binding is going to be set back just a little bit from the front and have a directional flex, so the tail is just a little bit stiffer than the nose. The Slash ATV is an all-around super fun snowboard. This is the board I ride and I great time. It feels really stable going as fast as I can go. It feels really good off jumps and it’s fun to lay down carves with. It is that traditional camber, so if you’re a fan of that in the powder it can be super fun but it’s not going to float quite as well as a more rockered powder board.
